Pirata Media Launches Atlantic Inn Web Site Redesign
BRISTOL, RI, May 30, 2009 – Pirata Media, LLC, a Bristol, RI advertising, design & marketing firm, today launched the new web site for the the Atlantic Inn on Block Island, RI.

The new Web site, located at www.atlanticinn.com, features numerous custom components including Pirata Media’s POPstar™ Content Management System (CMS), which allows Atlantic Inn staff to maintain the site in-house, a photo gallery, and an ecommerce component for gift certificate sales.

“We’ve had a great deal of experience working with destination marketing and travel and tourism web sites, so this was familiar territory for us,” said Steve Fischer, President, Pirata Media. “What makes this site special is the material we had to work with and the rich history of the Inn itself.”

The site was developed using .NET, Microsoft’s flagship framework, and Flash™ technologies.

The Atlantic Inn first opened it's doors in 1879 and has been greeting guests continuously since that time.
